To support the institution’s effort in creating a safer campus, for students, employees and visitors, we are inviting licensed security firms to apply to be featured on a centralized list. The intent of this listing is to ensure UF departments can easily access competent and available security firms. While we are seeking out (and preference will be given to) local and small businesses^a, all licensed security firms are welcome to apply.

Note: this list is not a contract with the institution, nor mandates UF departments to utilize your firm’s services.

If your firm is added to this list, it is NOT A CONTRACT with the University of Florida.
This Agreement may be terminated by either Party with or without cause upon thirty (30) calendar day’s written notice to the other party of its desire to terminate this Agreement.
This list is a tool intended to promote small businesses across the institution.
All UF suppliers are required to have the appropriate licensing and insurance to work on campus and remain on the list. Visit UF Procurement - Insurance Requirements for more information.
You will ensure all security personnel have a current Class "D" license (from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services licensed) and are appropriately trained.
A supplier application will need to be completed within one week of being notified that your firm has been approved to be featured on this list.
